Thread: Winchester P14 303, stock for

Anybody out there have a P14 stock for a restoration project?
Specifically, must be a Winchester stock and have the correct (IW) cartouche.

But, I thought it was me who asked if anybody had a stock that I might purchase. I have no parts, at all, to offer anybody.

Literally everybody is after the exact same part. They simply dont exist anymore.

I got an original sniper with matching number optic that has been sporterised. Asked around many times for a Winchester stock. I would pay $1k for one in decent nick at this point and have had no luck in the 5 years I have been looking. Good luck with your search.

You used up your luck getting a matching numbers sporter. I had to track my PPCo scope down in a little town in Europe of all places... Got found in a farmer's barn wrapped in wax paper several decades after the war.

Yeah I think I asked on here last year a couple of times. For a P14 bottom wood. Possibly the year before as well.

I would suggest that the only way is scrapping a decent condition Win built P14 - and likely you'll be looking at up to $2K in one of the auctions. The issue is the Win versions are considered the pick of the litter and are desireable as shooters as they are tighter and more accurate in barrel chamber and headspace dimensions.

Been trying this option, have been holding out for one that's been messed with a little, drilled and tapped, rooted bore etc. Don't really want to sacrifice a good rifle to restore another y'know?

Was the 2nd milsurp I ever bought, will never sell it ever. Have another p14 sniper that's mismatched as a shooter that scratches the itch till my matching rifle is restored.

So my matched P14 W is worth 2K now... nice to know

Yep about 2k is the going rate for a reasonable one now.

My Winchester has a nos eddystone stock but i dont care its not all winchester.

My ERA is a 4 digit mk1 a Fatboy for that and it can go in a museum
