    I'm confused - Were you after snap caps to protect the firing pin from potential damage when dry firing or dummy rounds to check feeding from magazine function? Just wondering...

    loading the rifle from stripper clip, working the action,

    need practice because i had a stoke 10 months ago, and now i dont have "normal" use of my right hand,
