    WTB 7mm BR Brass

    Hi Guy's
I've just purchased a 338 Whisper and am after some 7mm BR brass. If anybody has some for sale or can steer me in a direction, it would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Brent

Be easier to find 6BR brass would it not?

+1 6BR brass and open the neck in small increments

workshop innovation has 6br brass in both Lapua and Norma

you are going to end up with an interesting collection of expander mandrels

I have about 200 once fired, some twice fired 7mm 08 brass. All hornady, whitetail with the occasional remington thrown in.

For a true BR case he would more likely be looking at something with small primer pocket, so 308 Palma or 6.5x47.

It would be a lot of forming and trimming to get to 6/7br length from 308.

Time wise, necking up rather than down and similar case length will save you heaps of effort.

I am Afraid you are still going to have to neck turn your brass after expansion as it leave a thick ring at the base of the neck that will probably get stuck in your chamber and also gives you inconsistent speeds.
