    WTB AK-47 (E-CAT, maybe A-CAT)

Looking for above rifle in 7.62x39 calibre only. Would consider both E & A Cat. Impartial to all Chinese/Romanian/Russian/Yugoslav/Vietnamese types. Wooden & Synthetic ok.

Located in Auckland. If you are out of Auckland, must be willing to use SafeTrader.

FAL and standard PTP for E-CAT applies.

    Thanks

Maybe email the ASRA and see if any of them are wanting to sell one. Maybe even email the WSRA and ask them to ask members.

That may be but personally it seems wrong having what is essentially an AK firing a M16 cartridge.

I would say there would be a few ak47 in the next militaria auction which is October I think. There were 4 or 5 in the last one.
If you were willing to wait that long.

Nothing wrong with a Gallil/R4 or even SIG 550!

Touché but I think that the SIG 550 is stretching the relationship I think.

    Okay, I'd be happy with a Gallil/R4 or M249.

Actually scratch that, would rather have the LM4, 5 and 6 because then I could have them on E.

I'm sure you could pick up a cheap R5 or R6 in Soweto?

Yeah I saw the Carvalli's auction booklet too late...And there were a few. I wonder how much do those usually go for?

I've a few options on the table right now. And its matter of waiting or just pulling the plug.
