    WTB Burris Insert kit

Does anyone have an insert kit for Burris Signature tings that they no longer require.

    Cheers

    Ok, which 1 inch inserts do you need ? 5, 10 ?

How low / high are you at 100yds, and what is the distance between scope bases ?

I was wanting one of the kits which had the +/- 5, 10 and 20.
I am unsure at exactly what I need at the moment but want the most I can get I think, so the 10s and 20s, would want a 30 if they exist

    Ah, good point Gibo.
    In that case I am probably after a +/- 10 and 20

20 Moa is about the max you can gain with the inserts. They come in +/- sets, 5 and 10

To gain 20, you put the -10 at the bottom in the front ring (and +10 on top) and then the +10 at the bottom in the rear ring (and -10 on top). This will point the scope down and raise your point of impact.

Depends on the distance between your bases how much you actually gain. Search under my username for Buris, I posted the formula on here a while back.

What I suggest you do is shoot to get a zero at 100 yes, then check how much dial is available below and decide is you need inserts only, or a rail and inserts etc. also count the elevation dial range of your scope. How far out do you want to shoot ? What is the drop (in Moa) for your load out to that distance...

I can send you a set of 5s and 10s, but it pays to work some of this stuff out before hand. PM me your address.

Bloody old age, must be losing my memory. @Beetroot, was having a look at the kits on the web this morning, and seems I missed that they come in +/- 20 as well... So with 2 x 20 sets you should be able to gain 40 Moa, provided your bases are a certain distance apart. Or a single kit should give you close to 30.

Looks like the kits has 5, 10 and 20 sets. Check with Gunworks down in CHC, they have kits on their website for $35.
