I walked into Serious Shooters and it was on the wall. I grabbed it on the spot.

    That's what I thought.

I know there are others. I think mine was 1 of 2 that came in. But I'm pretty sure anyone could get one in.

hard to get parts, 1:9, not as proven, don't do anything at all better except for having a folding stock, made by a company with "lol" QC, obscenely overpriced, but look cool with a tube handguard and 11" barrel

    tough call really

Fuck! I probably would have lost control of myself and bought it as well. ESP if it was a more real world price than on gunsupplys.

    Please post some range reports!

All about the charging handle for me, they are so stupid on the M4 with the bolt catch, and that's why I want one of these.

What's so stupid about the ARs charging handle and bolt catch?

During a stoppage to lock the bolt open you need to remove both hands from where they would normally be on the rifle and brace the buttstock against your body.
To charge you need to remove the rifle from the shoulder or you'll punch yourself in the face.
To operate the forward assist you must remove your master hand from the trigger area.
The bolt catch is too small in my opinion to.

So during a normal stoppage you're juggling the rifle around, I like to keep things simple.

Apart from parts availability and price, I can't see anything better about the M4 over the ACR, pretty jealous alonzo.

A BAD lever allows you to lock the bolt open without moving your dominant hand. I don't find it to be an issue as it's only the locking of the bolt that requires the trigger hand to be removed from the firing grip (for a very short time). The rest of the stoppage clearance can be completed with the hand back on the grip, ready to fire as soon as the malfunction is cleared.

You only need to lift your head slightly to clear the charging handle. I do this anyway so I can see the ejection port.

Use your thumb to manipulate the forward assist.

Buy an enlarged bolt catch. The bolt catch is the same size as the mag release. IMO If you can use one, you can use the other.

For $100 worth of 'upgrades' you could have an AR with all of the benefits of the ACR, and none of its drawbacks.

Or you could just go for it, get an ACR, and have some fun
