    WTB Bushnell AR Tactical 223 4.5-18 x 40

    Anybody have one (or two) of these kicking around? Wanted mine before Christmas but can't get in stock before end of January in shops.

    Bushnell - 4.5-18x 40mm

    Yeah there seem to be a few 12 powers kicking around but I had my heart set on the (smaller, lighter!) 18 power. Might just need to wait. Sigh.

    The turrets are a prick in the bush. They're not tactile enough, so they end up rotating when they touch anything (your jacket, foliage ect.)

    And they're not very clear at high magnification, I prefer my Nikon 4-12 if it didn't have massive BDC reticle

    @Dougie

    Try Dave's sports in Dvk 063747761. He had some Bushnell ARs in there not long ago, unsure of magnification but worth a try. They're open sat mornings aswell.

    Wow, the slander is surprising! I thought these would be a great cheap into to dialling. I shall see how they go and get back to you all..

    I don't think it's slander mate.
    I think people are suggesting save for something a little bit better.
    Bushnell are not known for good glass or dialling reliability.
    Iron sights would be better IMO

    Bushnell rangefinders and binos are ok. Cant talk for their high end stuff but their AR scopes don't seem to have good glass. Value wise the Nikons are awesome IMHO and I don't know why they are not marketed here in nz.
