Hey oraki, haha ill pass on the stoeger but if you are still looking for a solid bike you could have mine for a grand if you were happy with it.

I know. I’ve got one arm holding the other down. Anyone know what it’ll cost to get down to Timaru area. The way NZ post is, it’ll be half the purchase price. Plus it’s got more than 5 gears in the mag, so be in another category....

Didn't know you were around Timaru @oraki, I grew up there and still visit from time to time. Some good MTB trails through the scenic reserve in Timaru (Centennial Park if anyone actually calls it the official name haha). Fun stuff at the white horse behind Waimate too, big berms etc winding down the hill.

@Matt308 I know I’ll probably regret my decision, but I’ve gone with a Norco much closer to home. I have a good relationship with local dealer and he reckoned that I got a bargain. Thanks for the very generous offer, and I’m still second guessing, but the freight put it just out off reach. @GravelBen. I’ve only driven through the scenic, but will visit it more regularly now. They’ve turned it into a top class track now. Daughter has gymnastics twice a week in town, do I’ve got a couple of hrs to kill. Also boys football has been canned, so he’s getting around like bear with a sore head. I’ll get him out on my old one.....so that he can hand my ass back on a platter as well. It’ll keep his mind off the game he eats sleeps and dreams off. Looks like he’s missing out on the Aussie training trip and the UK trip he’s been working towards.
