If "cheap cheap" is what your'e after then just go to Bunnings and buy a couple of lightweight tarps a roll of LW rope & some bits of bike tube
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

Keep watching www.kiwideals.co.nd I just bought a light weight tent off there for 139 bux . 2.2 kg 2year warranty . 2 man tent . It's called an outer limits or oztrail backpacker 2 tent . Yet to use but had it set up on lawn looks to be a great tent for price Name: uploadfromtaptalk1427394620221.jpg

It's the lightest tent I have found for less than $350 I have been watching them for a few months now trying to get something light enough to carry. In my opinion this is a light weight tent . And a msr tent is about $800 new . If I was going tarh hunting I would buy an msr but for the ruahines I can't justify that extra $600

Not saying my tent is stronger , it probably isn't for its price but here's a review of your tent that cost an arm and a leg. http://m.outdoorgearlab.com/Backpack...arbon-Reflex-2

Have Snugpak Ionosphere.... 1 man tent @1.3kgs (ish).
Kinda sits in the middle of a bivvy bag and a 2/3 person tent.
Has a really low profile which has Pros and Cons. great if you want to travel light but still have decent shelter if the weather's looking shite. If you're camping for a few days then you'll need a tarp also I reckon so you can have some outside shelter (not much room inside except for sleeping)

I picked up a Big Agnes UL1 weighing 1kg on TardMe for $170 ish from memory

I really rate it but it is small

Another option a mate uses is an ultralight minitarp over his top half and a bivvy bag - 4 stretchies can go over pack, rifle and a stick at the other corner ok

My full Northridge 3mx4m fly with pegs and a Wharewhare blue tarp under weighs 1.5kg - they give you more room to move if it's raining
