    WTB older ww2 style carbines

Hi all im new to shooting but have found an addiction lol ww2 fully wooded bolt actions
but alas these are not designed to be fired by shorter females arms, are just not strong and long enuf.
but theirs hope on the horizon i found the joy of carbines.
So im on here and trade me and everywhere alse trying to find them.
have already managed to get a jungle carbine but still after any mausers ,mosins or any other short gun i haven't discovered yet.
any help would be much appreciated

1895 chilean 7mm mauser carbine is a good option and a good shooter if you can find one, nice and short and 7x57 is an awesome caliber.

Hi @Frostbug are you getting into the military bolt action shooting comp? if not you should, its a fun shoot, takes 20 rounds per shoot and is as serious as you want it to be! let me know if you are interested.
    Use enough gun

M38 Swedish Mauser sounds like what you need. Far less recoil and noise than some of the 8mm, .303 or 7.62x54R options mentioned.

Not quite WWII, but the FR7/8 are lots of fun and pretty short in the stock, and are .308

I have a nice little Steyr 1895 6.5 Dutch Carbine made in 1900 that would fit your bill .
I was going to put on TM when I get back from SA as I don't know what the value is in NZ, but that would be a few months away yet !
