What sizes do you need? Square or round? I can compress them and post them, many as you want in a small box, no refund on the ones that won't expand back to original dimensions

How many holes you have to dig?
Bunnings have Homelite borers for about $400. They are surprisingly good for the money.

Can I borrow it once you've bought one? Have a boundary fence to do in Taupo, none in my bucket fit! Why not hire one?

Hi DF - back in 2012, I decided to plant 1500 natives to revert a crap hillside to native - I didn’t fancy digging that many holes with a spade or shovel - so I bought a one man post hole borer from a hire centre - not always a good idea to plant young trees in a hard faced hole but in BOP volcanic ash - it should be fine
So I got started with the machine and it chucked me down the bank a few times when it hit rocks or old roots - I am a scrawny bugger so I didn’t stand a chance when the drill stopped on a rock and the machine kept going around - it was really a two person job in that country and my wife wouldn’t help me - so I sold the bastard thing before it seriously injured me - back to hand digging holes
Have you considered a fencing contractor with a post rammer - amazing where they can go and how quick they can drive in a post - another option might be a quality steel long handle fencing spade - they are fantastic for digging fence post holes and will last a lifetime
