    WTB Range Finder up to 600yards

    As per title, anybody upgraded and have their old one kicking around? Looking for something that is at least happy with 500yards, more would be wicked. Cheers.

    Allways go for the longest range finding unit in your budget. You might not shoot that far.

    But you can use it to find a shooting position aswell.

    I went for the 1600 because one day I'll have a gun that'll shoot that far

    Not a .22 I think she has a poo poo free, as you call it.

    Buy a good one Dougie, new with a warrenty too. I don't like buying second hand electronics too much chance of thing going poo

    I have a .223 thank you very much, the most versatile calibre that's shot the majority of deer in NZ! And a beautiful .260, the flattest LR calibre there is!

    Hehe anyway yep I need something a bit gruntier than a 200m one! I've recently been doing 800yard target practice with .223 with great results.

    However, using my well trained army eye (harhar) to guesstimate distance on Sunday didn't go well. I thought 300yards and she ended up 370. With the slow, heavy bullet (not my gun) that error cost me a deer. Pretty keen to get some rangefinders.

    Ive got a yukon unit you can have for 400, its basicly brand new in box woth papers and case. Dont want to sell but need coin for christmas and when I can aford it Ill buy another they are that good

    Id have to doubke check but pretty sure its the lrs 1000 paid 599 for it but think there 499 now. Have ranged to 1300 on trees 1200 on pretty much anything
