We use them all the time in BC, not cheap, made from good quality, heavy, vegetable tanned leather. Nearly all have a flap over the butt end of the rifle, with just the butt exposed - it stops most of the crap getting in the scabbard as you are working through bush. And we use several different sizes depending on rifles, and now some need a slot cut in the for large scope turrets. Can send you some pic's in a month or 2.
