WTB Tikka T3 - 308 rifle. In Left-hand (seeing whats out there)

    Hi Guys,

Latest idea/ madcap plan is to build a T3 Bushpig 308 in left hand.

Already have a MAE 8CMP supppressor (5/8x24) for this and plenty of projectiles from the 300Blk of various weights.
Just wanted to see if anything was out there before I also look chopping a new one or perhaps even a CTR.

Just a observation CTR was 1800 in 2015 Reloaders catalogue today.... $2349 - that's 23% in 2 years - Far out anyone think its a bit on the nose???

Savage make quite a few models with the bolt on the wrong side, seen a few cheap on TM now and then good for a bush musket.

Yeah mate - just struggling with the bolt being on the wrong side - for follow ups. Yeah luv the 300 brilliant for what it does, just looking for something with a few more legs too for slip shooting as well.

Too easy. Chop the barrel another few inches and all done. Mint scope as well!

    Zzzzz 308 zzzzzzzzz
Out of all the interesting chamberings
Why would you want the most boring one

Jokes mate you're gun your choice

Should be easy enough to get a tikka left hand mate
Im sure you will find what you want pretty easy a 7/08 would be ok to if one pops up fuck all driffrent really as far as knock down power for bush hunting goes

I do not see the point in a 7mm08 over a 308. In a 308 i can find more varierty and cheaper ammo.
People say it shoots flatter and better at longer range but i say if you want that why not just buy a 25-06, 260 etc etc.
My bushpig is a 308 and it is a joy to use.

All sorted - a forum member PM'd me with a 308 that fitted the bill.
Well will be doing a couple of mods, but exchanging paperwork currently...

    Thanks all for your advice!!

PS that 308 on TM didn't sell last night, so thats still out there too..
    Cheers CD.
