WTB Volquartsen hammer for 597 Remington

Been out playing with the wee Remington 22LR.
Nice rifle (although the early ones were a PITA apparently, with extractor, and magazine issues).
Mine's a later one with the good mags, and seems to be well sorted now.
So, I have already installed a Volquartsen extractor 'cos the Remington one is a pressed steel piece of crap really (it's OK but needed better finishing at the factory). I couldn't be bothered doing the job that Remington should have done and went straight to the aftermarket stuff.
Next step is the hammer. tried the usual polishing, honing, etc.
It's improved the trigger pull but still not wonderful.
Volquartsen make a target hammer for the 597 and this is what I would like to buy.
    But, where from?
Are they 'REALLY' $76 worth in NZ?
Seems a big step up from US price.
Can anyone suggest an NZ site to buy from (with better pricing)?
Or, maybe a US site that will send to NZ without wanting my left kidney for postage?

$45US most places so buy the time you convert and ship you would only save about $10? Might have to skip a pie and coke and suck it up and pay someone like reloaders unless your going to do a larger order and slap it in with the rest.

Its a pain in the ass with some items. Don't want to pay the price but no real way around it.

From memory when I got the VQ stuff for my 597, Reloaders were the only ones stocking the bits here in NZ.
Getting them in from the US now might be easier.
    Try Brownells.....

    Or Volquartsen directly

Been a while ago now, but I got all my 597 bits and mags from:

    Remington 597

Rimfire Sports & Custom: Remington 597 Accessories

I can't recall which one shipped here though. Was WAAAAAY cheaper than local at the time. USD $35 for hammers.

Got a couple of hammers, extractors and 1/2 dozen mags. My mates got the spares though, so I can't get it to you, sorry.
