    Wtb wood stock remington model 7

    Anyone have a model 7wood stock they would move on? Will look at other options also but really want something with a bit of weight behind it. Cheers

    I have a laminated stock, suitable for the short mag barrel profile, i could let go...

    You shouldn't have sold your carbon one, could have made the difference up with cash and this.

    Suitable for mag barrel also.

    The original plastic ones are as heavy as the wooden ones.

    Agreed, but nowhere near as stiff as a wood one...

    I have some timber ones here and laminated ones that are inletted for the short mag/saum barrel profile.

    They are certainly quite stiff. Not that much heavier than factory plastic.

    Not sure what it's worth, make me an offer if you're keen.

    Have a look on Boyd gun stock web site, they have a special today, with one model seven laminated stock @ $99 I.e exportable.

    Theres a std wood one with trigger guard & floor plate (blued) on TM at the moment
    [B].416 rigby 410gr doing 2400fps fun times!
