    Lee collet die.

I use Redding body dies and lee neck dies, works the case necks the least of all the options.

Yup, I don't like the variation you get from neck, neck, neck, then eventually full length. So I bump the shoulder .002 from fireformed each time. My application is long range target shooting, so consistency is the primary focus.

I also turn the necks, and shoot a LOT, so the case necks would take a real hammering if they went thru an expander mandrel in a normal neck die each time.

I don't think the Lee collet die works the case necks any less than the Redding neck bushing die does with the expander button removed (which isn't needed anyway).

Danny, I have a brand new unused Lee Collet die in .308 for sale if you're interested - $30 which includes postage or $25 if you want to pick it up in Tokoroa.
