    WTD: 22-250 action

I'm looking for a 22-250 to rob the action to use in a smoking hot 20cal project rifle.

If anyone knows of a rifle that has smoked out it's barrel, let me know please.

Oh yeah, I'm tighter than a tiger so whatever has to be cheap

I have a friend with a Howa 22-250 still in great shape overall, he actually wants to swap for a 308.

Sounds like it's too good to chop up.

I'm after more of a "very well used" item. lol

Yeah. Don't want a single feed.
308 action could work but there's more work involved to get to them feed right. Even if it was a blind mag they don't feed well. Only draw back so far.

dude short actions are all the same... e.g a remington 22-250 action is exactly the same as a remington .243, 7mm08 , 308 etc - the only thing different is the barrel and chambering. so you can use any of them. u can choose any magazine set up u like once u have your action e.g blind mag, detachable , bottom drop out
