WTS - Marlin XS7 7mm-08, incls Hardy Suppressor, Sling, Gunbag and ammo

A mate of mine become keen on hunting, and brought this rifle on my recommendation (as my XS7 was going well).

After 2 years of the rifle gathering dust in the safe, and only sight in and a couple of zero re-check shots later he has decided that hunting isn't really his thing - His loss can be your gain.

It's a Marlin XS7 in 7mm-08, he purchased it new, and had the Hardy Suppressor fitted from new (Its a version 3 Hardy i think) The Barrel has been left at the standard 22". But if it was me i would have it cut down to about 18".

The scope is the budget 'Back Country' 3-9x40 which does the job to get you started, but a scope upgrade would definitely be an improvement.

It comes with the Scope, Sling, Suppressor and new Gun bag (which is long enough to fit the rifle with the suppressor on).

Will also include the remaining rounds from the 2 boxes of factory 140gr ammo (Rem Core-Lokt) he purchased when he got the rifle. 26 rounds fired - 14 Rounds left which will be included if picked up.

It does not come with the Bi-pod (which is mine and only fitted to aid taking photos).

It shoots bloody well, actually better than mine did before i started reloading for it. The below target was shot at 100 yards with the suppressor on. 3 touching at 100 yards, many far more expensive rifles wouldn't shoot any better.

There is a slight mark on the barrel where the bush in the rear of the suppressor sits on it. A few little marks on stock, but over all in very good order - As it should be after only getting out for 3-4 walks Wink

He'll take $900 for the lot. Rifle is in Napier, but would send with paperwork.

Good value here @ $900 for someone starting out, or even as a spare/loaner rifle. The Hardy Suppressor is at least $500 alone.

Its all next to new - Save a few hundred dollars over new cost. These Marlins are a way better rifle than most of the other cheaper rifles, good features and they shoot very well.

Will give it a few more days on the forum before listing on TM for a bit more.
