Looking to sell off my Remington 700VS Varmint/Target rifle chambered in .308 Winchester.
- Leupold Mark 4 PR 4.5-14x40mm scope with side mounted Parallax Adjustment and Fine Duplex Reticle.
- Butler Creek Flip Up Lens Covers
- Badger Ordnance Steel One Piece 0MoA Scope Rail.
- Badger Ordnance Steel Medium Height 30mm Scope Rings
- Eagle Industries Stock Pack with a few goodies (Allen Keys, Lens Pen, Cloth etc...) inside.
- Bought in 2003, it has probably just had less than 1000 rounds through it, which have ALL been reloads - it loves 168gn AMaxes.
- being an early 2000s model it has the J-Key Bolt Locking system which has been used twice - once when I bought it, and once about two minutes before i typed this to make sure it works. Remington stopped putting the J-key system on rifles in 2007 - that must make this one collectable!
- Shoots a solid .75MoA when I do my part.
- All in factory configuration, including HS Precision Kevlar Stock.
- Trigger lightened to about 3.5 lbs (I've had to take the gunsmiths word for this - I've never actually weighed it myself).
Selling as I don't find Long Range Shooting very interesting any more, prefer to shoot Service Rifle and want to buy more E and C Cat stuff. This rifle shoots so good, it deserves to be used by someone who will appreciate it.
Looking for $2200ono, will also consider trades for Service Rifles.
Rear Bag and Harris Bipod NOT included with rifle.
