    ww2 battle finds

I got some of these as part of a small collection of ww2 gear a while back, need to free up some cash as my main rifle needs some TLC so letting go of a few things

so what there is 5 rounds, 4 of which are head stamped "DWM 1938 TV SS" and 1 is stamped "DWM 1938 SS"

this is what I've been able to find out about them so far...
as the German ss were a party militia force, they were initially separate to the regular government force and therefore had its own logistics network,
part of this was contracting out the production of their own ammo, therefore they included their unique Head stamp on their ammo, most of this ammo was used on the Russian front
particularly Leningrad, which is where I was told they were from.

"DWM" - is the maker mark who was "Quant"
"TV" - "Totenkopf Verband" meaning "Deaths Hand" or "Brotherhood"
the oval strike to the primer is common on these rounds as the ss were well known to use Czech weapons

I dont really know what these are worth but i have seen a near perfect one of these go for over $100 in NZ

    $3.00 postage nationwide
