    YILDIZ 410

    looking around for yildiz 410 youth size shotgun in very good condition. At this stage north island only due to probs with shipping

    @johnd is it a single shot? how heavy is it? I will have to do some homework on the 28ga

    28 is the next size up about.58 of an inch probably more practical as the 410 magnum load is pretty biffy with 3/4 oz in a very light gun, thats the std 28 gauge load and the extra pound or so mmakes all the difference to recoil which generally is young shooters biggest issue.

    Its an o/u you could look at it in Hamils Tga branch. A straight saw cut through the stock to shorten and a new reshaped recoil pad would be the go. Then when he gets bigger add the cut bit back on.

    28 gauge is a massive round, like the 270, shoots well above it's stature.

    28 gauge is a far better round than the 410 without a big jump in recoil , he will hit more and have more fun with a 28 gauge .
    Its actually my favourite sub gauge and my Skeet scores have it only 1 or 2 targets behind the 12 and 20

    Hes only going to be suited to a single shot this year. Hes only a little weed.Don't think he will be able to point and swing a double barrel be to heavy for him i feel

    It can be made single shot by only putting in one round, but it may be too big for him.

    With the ammo I would take $1000 It is the ejector model
