    Zastava .375 H&H mag & Miroku ML 22

I've met some good buggers from this forum, so I figure a couple of my shooters might be of interest to someone out there.

First up is a Zastava M70 in .375 H&H magnum.
I'd have been lucky to put 30 rounds down the tube. The guy I bought it off, maybe 60?
Bluing is immaculate, only a few minor marks from being in the safe. Bore is clean and shiny.
Comes with Hornady dies. 50 rounds of ammo, some brass when I find it, and a handful of 300gn Sierra projectiles.
I'll regret moving this on, but its a safe queen, and NZ is short on elephants to shoot. I did shoot a fallow buck in full flight with it. It was like someone made a clean 2" core right through the poor bugger.
    Looking for $1200 firm.

Secondly, a Miroku ML22. Purchased this a couple of months back off TM. Lever action, short throw. Its solid, and feels like a proper lever action, not some bit of junk steel.
It has a feed issue, where the release on the mag tube lets a round slip past, and jams up the action. If you cycle it slowly, its fine, but who wants to cycle a lever action slowly? I shot CCI subs and quiets through it, and had a blast.
That's about as far as I got with it. I thought I'd have time to muck around and fix it. But kids and work are hectic.
There's some pitting externally and shown. The previous owner has scrubbed it ahead of the rear sight, with steel wool.
    Looking for $350.

Both rifles are in Tauranga, but I travel all of the north island for work. Will be at Sika show next weekend, can meet either end of the days.
    Obviously, no licence, no sale.

Two quick points, 90 rounds through the 375.....That amount of ammo must be respected..That would cost nearly what the rifle (Zastava) would especially if you have another 50 left. A good price s $6 a shot so well done that man......

And that Zastava does not look like it has been used. Wow that looks good. That will make someone very happy....Oh if only I had the budget for both. Now I only have to find something I have worth $1500 that you want to swap for it...

Well, the ML22 is Sold pending funds, good to see it going to a new home.

The Zastava really has done bugger all work. It’d be good for those sneaky sambar

surely someone’s planning an Alaska grizz hunt? Or even a buff in Auzzie?

I’ve still got my .222 zastava laminate stock that will stay with me forever. They’re well underrated for what they are.
