    Zeiss 8x42HT. Brightest Alpha binos made.

    Hey ho. I’ve hung on to these for a little too long in the hope I’d pass them on the kids. But they’ve now got their own minox

    I love alpha glass and but I’ve moved to Swaro all round. Just suit my eyes better as I’ve got older.
    I bought these in Germany before moving here in 2014. They are remain the brightest ever in the current ziess range and still current. They’ve served me faultlessly and are still in warrantee.
    They have the famed abbekonig prisms and have often been touted as the best binos available. I dont disagree. I’ve tied and owned all the Alpha glass but always kept these. Only bested by my NL Pure.

    I take purdy dam good care of my gear. Boxes n all.
    3.4k new. I’ll take $2500. Including the Kuiu chest rig.

    Yes, they're fantastic binos. The best I've ever looked through and as you say the highest light transmission. I wish I still had mine.

    I had the 10x in same model that I got in for a guy who bailed due to CV19
    I had a terrible time trying to sell them too
    Ended up selling for 2K under RRPrice :-( (2500 retail was 4490 :-(

    I am buggered if I Know
    These HT were superior to all other Alpha Bino I have tried and trialled (Swaro EL - Leica Geovid etc )

    These in 8x would be just great too - especially if a bit shakey in the hands like me - as 10x exaggerate your tremble

    Someone buy these - you will not regret it I guarantee !!!

    There seems to be a mindset that 10x is better than 8x binos. Never seen a deer with a 10x that I wouldn't have seen with an 8x. Of course the main advantage of 8x over 10x is that they have better low light performance in the same model. it's even more noticeable when using the smaller objective 30/32mm binos. The Zeiss HT 8x42 is an incredibly good binocular. I had the 10x and wanted the 8x version but couldn't get one at the time.
