    15 inch 223 barrel

    what sort of performance could I expect from a 15 inch 223 barrel
    thinking of shorting one of my two 223s and supressing

    Of course.

    I'm getting 2873fps with 65gn Gamekings in my 16" AR.
    No reason you can't better that, as mine isn't even above ADI recommended max.

    I get 2850fps from hornady training ammo from a 14-15" barrel

    Which reminds me - Rambo we will go chase some more goats end of August? Think I'm booked up till then.

    12" AR with a Waitaki engineering .223 supressor. Furthest goat ranged at 268 metres. No problems.
    Shooting factory winchester 55 gr powerpoint ammo.

    15" is plenty almost anything.
    I have a few ARs and I really struggle to justify the ones with long tubes to myself,let alone anyone else
