Mine is a Rem Mod 700 SPS and love the caliber, ideal for goats especially at longer ranges, very messy on small game. My Rem isn't the most accurate rifle out there but is ideal for goats and fallow deer and good enough to hit rabbits out to 250 odd yards, I use 55 gr Noslar BT at 3600 fps.

I have my trusty old tikka varmint with the vx3 8x25 varmint reticle.
Just running the 52 amax till I run out.
On a nice day will ping goats to 500m and was shooting peacocks at 400m.
When I shoot the barrel out there will be a 7 twist going on it as we have done to a mates shooting 88 eldm .
I'm not sure what speed he is getting but with those high bc projectiles it will have some awesome performance and reach.
Thank god for tight twist barrels!

I have rem lvsf with carbon stock and fluted barrel.
Awesome calibre on wallabies with the Hornady z max 55gn.
Also goes v well on fallow deer but with a stronger projectile choice.

@csmiffy for many years a Carl Gustaf model 9000 in 22-250 was the only rifle I used to shoot deer, pigs, goats, wallabies, hares and rabbits, with a few possums thrown in for good measure. Although I still have that rifle it now sports a 24" Pacnor 1:12" twist barrel rather than the original 60 cm 1:14" factory barrel which I shot out.

That rifle has been joined by two other 22-250s in the safe, one is a Sauer 202 1:14" and the other is a Schultz and Larsen Victory 1:10" twist. My wife also has a Schultz and Larsen Classic DL 22-250 with a 1:10" twist barrel.

Over that years I have shot 100 plus deer with the 22-250 however all but one of them have been neck or head shot, the one Red hind I chest shot while on the move went 15 odd yards before dying. The projectiles I used were either Speer 55 grain SP (#1047) or 55 grain Sierra Game Kings (#1365) and several deer were shot at ranges of between 250 and 350 yards on still evenings.
There is no doubt that there have been huge improvements in heavier projectiles but I still use 55 grain pills, either the Sierra GK or the bonded Norma Oryx.

The 22-250 also excels at longer range hare and rabbit annihilation, I have shot several at ranges beyond 400 metres with the odd one beyond 450 metres. I am sure 500 metres plus is possible but where I shoot my ranges are limited to just beyond 450 metres.

I have a Savage in 22-250. Just recently had it suppressed, shot a few goats before that but haven't had chance to take it out since and probably won't for another few weeks great rifle though.

Standard Tikka Varmint stainless (forgotten the length) with 2206h - you'll need to lengthen the mag for the 75's to fit but they were great.

Enjoyed the 69 TMK too and they fit the mag.

Smacked quite a few critters with those loads and they lay down nicely. I have a video knocking over goats at 400 yds with them.
One in the head and one in the engine room.

    Edit**

    Just found the post

Sweet, just also happen to have exact same rifle, all components, powder etc and a Aussie Waterman extended mag.
I've still got a tin of around 900 77gr Seirra Belmont to get through first from black rifle days!
    Tikka shoots them well also.
