    22 suppressors

well I have finished modifying my little bunny gun and the last bit I need is a suppressor
my mate has a hushpro and that's fantastic and there only $95 but they are little heavy compared to dpt's I have a DPT on my 223 and that's awesome
happy to spend upto $130 for the right one

id like a short quiet suppressor for both subs and hv ammo
    so will it be
    Hushpro
    DPT
    Gunworks
    or other

would also consider buying 2nd hand

I've had a SAK on my Brno for a couple of years now, and just got my first DPT for the Marlin. Shooting subs and switching between them on the same rifle, there's hardy any difference from the shooters perspective, maybe a SLIGHT nod towards the DPT... but then I am running the extra baffles meant for a .22mag.

Honestly very impressed with the DPT.

I have a DPT on my 22 savage and I'm also very happy with it I only have the 3 baffles but for 110 bucks they are a nice light well finnished bit of kit that is quiet enough for me

    Just use the 223 one
Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

I've got a couple I use on either my Marlin semi, or my Brno mod 2. One is a cheapie, a mighty mouse, and the other is a more expensive one (can't remember what it is off the top of my head, got it from Serious shooters). On the boltie with subs they are both quieter than an air rifle, and with the semi a bit noisier with the bolt clatter. I only really have two so both can be used at once. Bugger all difference between them as far as I can tell

    I use a DPT on my 22lr.
I tried it with only one baffle to use with subs like was recommended, it worked well.
But I bought the 22mag model and just use all 5 baffles and it's awesome, more or less 100% silent. The sound of the bullet hitting the target is much louder than the muzzle blast, and the sound of a hollow point hitting a bunny is at least 10 times louder.

The cheap plastic suppressor that came on my Jw is only the size of my thumb and with subs the loudest sound is the bullet hitting the bunny or dirt.

I think ill stick with the DPT idea I think that's the best option for the money @DPT could you recommend the 5 or 3 baffle? its just a 22lr shooting mostly subs but sometimes hv

I paid about $35 for a Manders maybe 6 years ago and its never let me down. Have shot Hi Velocity through it with no ill effects. Its small and light and works really well on my 10/22 but it doesn't have a flashy name laser etched on the side but still pretty useful!

My 10/22 came with one of the H&F units, they are well put together. I use CCI Subs and have dispatched 50 or so bunnies and possums with it only hearing the thump as the bullet hits.
Also strong enough to take CCI Stingers but still noisy, I use the Stingers on possums at close range or the .223 when there is some distance.
