22 Terminator

So I recently grabbed a 22 terminator of Kiwi Greg.
Been using it a heap recently and she is is a demon. 4 shot groups in one hole on the paper at 100yrds.
She's a tikka with Gunworks can, fluted bolt, Barrel, vx3 6.5-20x50 on the top.
Having done a heap off shooting with a 223 and 204 I wasn't sure what this would bring to the party....
I was wrong as usual:)
Today in good conditions I shot out to 1000yards on steel, groups where under moa.
She's putting the 53gr vmax out at just under 3700fps
Shot a heap of pests today out to just under 800yards, in no wind:)
Below is some results, first shot was at 450 yards downhill bullet went a touch low, the rest where all in the head:)
Any way if your after something a bit different to sort the critters out consider one of these:)

How many shots before the barrel is knackered and how much does the dies cost? Also on Doc land would this be legal.

Barrel life should be good as long as you don't cook it mate.
Someone in the no will answer that for you I guess:)
Dies are usual price:)

75gr amax will sort out a moose:)

Sounds like a sweet little round, those 75 A-max's certainly go well!
I've been thinking about building a fast twist .22-250 for a while but the .22 Terminator sounds like its pretty close with a bit less powder.
Recoil should be pretty low?

Looks mean. Is it a .204 necked up to .224?

There is no recoil mate:)
I'm using the 53gr vmax for the critters :)
But can run the 75gr amax at around 3250 but as for the vs 22-250 I'm not the one to ask mate:)

Yes:)

Would imagine there is about 150-200 fps between the 2?
I'm running a .223AI and have been really happy with it but had it built in a 1:12.
Now I'm wanting to build something around the 75 A-max that'll also shoot the 53 V-max at blistering velocities.
The .22-250AI in a fast twist is very very tempting but the .22 Terminator would be a practical choice!

Never had a 22-250 mate so I wouldn't no how they compare:)
I can say it eats a 223 for breakfast
In my opinion:)

I must say I do find the 22-204 quite appealing! Good to hear your real world opinion on it.

Greg has got another one on TM at the moment I think.
