Thread: .223 Recommendations ?

My 223 is a Rem Mod 7, nice handy rifle, certainly accurate enough, not to heavy, so all and all pretty good little rifle. Velocity I get with 20 inch barrel is 3070 fps with the 55 gr Hornady sp/wc handload. You wouldn't go wrong with a Tikka as they are usually very accurate and a reasonable weight. Really need to try a few different brands and see what fits you well, most known brands of rifles these days will shoot one inch or less at 100 yards.
