whats ammo aviablity like in NZ, I am yet to locate any, currently lookin for dies, but they either extremely expensive, and in Europe or custom build in USA.
Any one got one, or seen Ammo in NZ,
I am but reluctant to pull the trigger, as ammo seams difficult to source, here in Canada, I am after, a compact light weight, single shot for NZ.

Can't help with brass or dies ex NZ
But they are both available from Australia and the brass is RWS so 100 will last a lifetime.

I use RWS 6.5x65R in my K95 and its nice brass

I hope you like recoil because it will have plenty of kick at both ends.
But I did notice that it is mag-na-ported

    Go for it

I’d save your money and look for a K95 in a more recoil friendly caliber. The advantage of the K95 is the ability to take off and re-fit the scope without losing zero. Those rings on the 770 look fixed.
I’d personally steer clear of the 30 Blaser, just too expensive for components apart from projectiles and the recoil will be too much for such a light and handy rifle. 30/06 would be as big as I’d go. My 7x65R is getting towards the upper limit of comfortable.
