    30 MOA rings

Does anyone know if 30mm scope rings with 30 MOA elevation built in are available? I have a Savage 110 in .338LM which has a 20 MOA factory rail, but I need a total of 50 so I can adjust from a 200m zero to a 2000m zero. The way I do this currently is with a 20 MOA weaver riser on top of the factory rail, and Burris rings with 10 MOA inserts, but this setup sits very high and I'd rather use more robust rings. Any input is appreciated, I haven't seen any 30 MOA rings, at least not in NZ, I suppose I could see if someone could make a set of one-piece base/rings with 50 MOA that will go straight on a Savage action.
    Cheers, Tom

Might be time for a NF scope.
Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

My understanding was that you could buy other inserts for your Zee rings. If you had the zee rings directly mounted on your 110BA with a -15 in front and a +15 at the back you would get the 50 Moa that you are looking for (20 from the 110BA rail and 30 from the rings).
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

The Burris 30mm rings only have +/- 5 and 10 moa.

You best bet would be to try find a 30moa rail, or get a scope with more elevation.
Most long range set ups rely on the rail for the adjustment, Burris Zee rings are the only commonly used adjustable rings I've heard of.
You can just wedge some Coke can or paper underneath the scope but as you are shooting 338L I don't think that'd be advisable.

Keep in mind also the +5/-5 and +10/-10 are not directly MOAs. What you get will depend upon your ring spacing - closer together more MOAs, further apart (optimum for mounting) less MOAs.

It is a Nightforce =) But I'm not using super fast loads and I need 99 of the 100 MOA adjustment that the scope has, to dial from 200m to 2000m. I think I'll see if a gunsmith can make a 50 MOA rail.

It might be easier to just try find a bit more speed?
How fast you driving the 300s?
At 2800 fps you should only need 92moa so I'm assuming around 2730?
How have you found the 300s preform at that distance doing your speed?

Yeah, the 300 grain Bergers are doing about 2750, I haven't shot paper targets for groups at long ranges but I've connected with metal ones out to 2000m and I have been very pleased with them. Elevation seems very consistent at these ranges but my ability to read the wind lets me down.

The 1" come in those sizes but 30mm only 5 and 10.

If you want more elevation you can put the -10 in the front ring as well as the +10 in the rear, to get an extra 10moa. But you haven't solved the gruntier ring issue.

The Leupold website lists some of their VX3s having 120ish moa so that could be an option. Or look for another scope with more adjustment.

@tommygun have you sorted this out? @Alonzo recently had some custom rails made with 40 odd MOA built into them. Hopefully he can let you know who did them (I can't remember the name).

Also I think Waitaki, or any other decent machinist should be able to make some?
