with 16.5" barrel I found 168gn or heavier could use 2208, 2206h, but lighter than 150gn best performance with a powder faster than 2208 - I'm using 2219 with 125gn for reduced load (2400 fps) and full noise (2850 fps). 2206h covers the bases pretty well too, esp. around the 150-168gn mark. If you already have 2208 and not something faster, I would go with a 150-168gn projectile.
What length are you chopping to?
Just loaded 110gr Hornady using 2219. Used 46gr but could have squeezed 47gr. Maybe next time. My mate is enjoying the reduced recoil with the 110gr TTSX. An overseas forum commented the 125's with a fast powder is the wonder zone for harvesting. Probably get my mate to try them in late January for another meat run.
