44mag to 444marlin rechamber?

Right here is a question for the people in the know how.

Could a new model Bergara Pigger 44mag be rechambered in 444marlin and be safe to use with factory ammo ?
They even come in 1:20 twist, it's just the difference in pressure that seems to be a lot.

Yes. It might be difficult to find someone with a factory reamer, but it is a piece of cake to make a 'D' reamer out of silver steel. The Bergara's will handle .308 which is higher pressure than the .444 Marlin.

Thanks @gundoc wasn't sure if they used the same frame for the 44 or nor. Do you know if anyone takes on such jobs in Welly-Wairarapa region?

I know @Nick-D that's what I was after originally am just waiting for you to buy my .308 first :D. Trading for a .44 than rechamber to 444M is option No2.
