    5mm Remington Magnum

So today driving from a job back to the office i was talking with one of the guys in the company and he started talking about how he has 2 Remington (unsure which model) 5mm magnums. Having a quick read about them be a interesting to know if anyone else has one?
Aguila is making ammo for them again but is it available in NZ?

He also said he might think of selling one if i knew of someone wanting one...
I'll try get some photos off him and find out what condition, model and how much ammo he has with them too...

5 mm Remington Rimfire Magnum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Its from what i understand .204 pill in a necked cased similar to a .22 magnum, but able to handle higher pressures

I don't really see the appeal. Obsolete guns in obsolete calibers isn't my forte though.

i have to agree. the point to me of light rimfire calibers is to shoot high volumes of bullets. If they are expensive it makes this a very costly hobbie.

I also rekin most calibers become obsolete for a reason, something better comes along, replaces it and life goes on
