2840fps(130`s) is with the factory load. i guess i would get it up to about 3000fps with if i hand load the 130`s.
i guess you have a longer barrel than 55cm if you get 2840fps with 140 in a 6.5-55.
if not you are danger high on the pressure.
anyway, to stay low on pressure a not load the shit out of a x55 i went for the .284

Your 6.5-284 sounds like a good choice. That velocity of 2840 for the 140grn is from a 21.5" barrel, norma cases, N560 and Amax. No pressure signs but I get flat primers going up another .5 grn.
