Given your thinking about cutting the barrel look at the savage 260, they shoot fine, the plastic stock is "all right".
And I'm only saying the 260 because the 6.5x55 is rather wasted in a short barrel (been there, bought the t-shirt)
Otherwise whichever rifle fits better when you pick them up as those three should all shoot well.
