Here's a standard M7, newer one with barrel cut to 18" from 20"

Compared to the Howa mini I had, pic was while I was thinning down and lightning the factory stock. There's a section of the foreend that's been cut out. Also drilled out the solid pistol grip

Took close to 200grams out of it. Also note the recoil pad is much lighter than factory one.

The Howa mini pictured was the standard 22" barrel.

I didn't have a pic of weight of rifle before I started lightning it.

You get the idea, the Howa mini isn't that light.
