Thats on the ADI site.
Thanks mate yep that's a good on I'm more after a pill info
.244/6mm Remington
If you scroll down a bit there is a table of projectiles and BC and MV although it doesnt have the amount of powder used.
Don't believe everything you read on that sight Toby:)
Try the hodgedon powders site, they normally have loads for barnes pills.
Cartridge Loads - Hodgdon Reloading Data Center - data.hodgdon.com
From the Hodgdon site,
Then use this to convert to ADI Powders
ADI Powders Handloaders' Guide
Projectiles; anything that works in a 243 of like twist will work in the 6mmRem.
In close I would go 85 grn TTSX or TSX based on my experience with them. The 100 grn Hornady Interlock is a good reliable one too.
I load 2209 using targex pills in my 243 havnt lost a animal yet.
isnt there a 6mm 86g that is ment to punch above its weight? interlock or such?
this 1 i think it is 6mm .243 87 gr BTHP
Hornady Manufacturing Company :: Bullets :: Rifle :: Choose by Caliber :: .243 6mm :: 6mm .243 87 gr BTHP
This might be helpful if you decide to use Barnes TTSX 80 or 85 grn...

Brads, this is my go-to site: Knowledgebase
Terminal Ballistics Research. Trawl through the other 6mm calibres, particularly .243 as some of the info may not be repeated under 6mm Rem. Assumes you will be starting with bullet seelction so no loading data though, but that will be straight forward to find.
BRADS I plan to run a 95g Partition in my 243AI, which will be almost the twin of the 6mm Rem (but look sexier). Am still waiting to get it back but it looks like it will be the business. Kinda an old school version of the Barnes
The rain is gone:(
I wanted to run them in my girls 243 but unfortunately it didn't like them much.
It loves 95 targex at any velocity tho but its only shot a sheep and 1 deer so far so can't really comment on terminal performance but looks good so far:)

If you where hand loading it should be the 6 mm??
The 95 Targex are great, and I think would work well in the 6mmRem. I have them going 3080 fps out my 20" barrel 243. They seldom pass through, and are more likely to buzz around inside the animal causing all sorts mayhem. They can cause quite a bit of blood shock. I've shot reds, fallow and Tahr with them. 25 yds to 520.
These were together at 25 yds. Neither bullet exited but they both dropped quickly.

Im running them at 3180. Will shoot a red with it next weekend and see how it goes.;)
