Pretty much the same argument 708 vs 308. If you prefer 7mm go with the Rem mag if you like 30cal go the the win mag. Both do the same job at the same distances you just have to tweak loads to suit. I'm a 30 cal fan so would go the the 300.

or .280 Vs 30/06 or 7mm waters Vs 30/30 or blond Vs Brunette (the answer to that one is red head)
