Thread: 7mmRem Mag or 7mm08. Pros vs cons. Looking to shoot anywhere from 100m to 350

No doubt the 7mm08 is effective well past 400 yards and goes past the 270 once you get well out there because of the slippery162 projectiles.

The 08 is much easier to shoot both at paper and on animals than the rem mag so its much easier to grow your skills if you want to push things further out. I think 450 is just as easy as 350 with a good setup and beyond that requires some serious skill which entails burning some ammunition practicing...no doubt the magnum made that way harder for me.
