Definitely reloading 180gn ELDM's as soon as I have enough Norma brass.
If I wasn't reloading Federal 175gn eldx are meant to be pretty honest with claimed velocity, the bondstrike is substantially slower than box would suggest. 2870fps chronographed vs claimed 3050fps claimed.

2225 but sounds like 2217 would be much of a muchness. I also need to source some magnum primers....

Edit, looking at hogdon load data for the 175gn 2217 would possibly be better as a max load of 2225 would be compressed but there's almost nothing in it velocity wise and obviously there are variables.

    I'm sure you're aware but that is a hot load....max velocity with 2225 in a 24" barrel is 2985fps at 62200psi
BRADS, chainsaw and Peashooter like this.

Slightly off topic but any particular reason why your choosing the DPT brake?

Braked suppressor sorry and because they are great value and perform well. Good balance of price, weight, quality and performance.
    Seventenths and Friwi like this.
