    9mm Back from Coating

Just got my Doublestack 1911 back from coating and quickly reassembled.
The pics dont do the colour justice and there is no sun out to get a real impression of it
Its KG Light Olive Drab - flat - where the photo shows it almost glossy and grey ish.
    Its deff green.

EXACTLY the colour I was wanting

    Before and after pics

Will try and get some better colour pics in the sun tomorrow

    You're on!

I've shot a few times in Adelaide at a range in the city. 22LR, 9mm Glock, 45 Glock, 357 Magnum and a Dirty Harry style 44 Magnum. Heaps of fun! I'd like to get my B cat one day.

    Gun coating.

    Hey Spanners.
That looks good man, what can I do to darken/coat a stainless barrel. What would be best, heat resistant and scratch resistant as much as possible?

    Cheers.
