    @JacketRacquet I’m sure this is all pretty obvious but here’s a few things to take into consideration:
    -your girlfriend needs a firearms license, otherwise it’s a no go
    -your associate with a firearms license who purchases the rifle will need to physically give the rifle to your (licensed) girlfriend, as you cannot legally be in possession of a firearm
    -wooden stock model 7s occasionally come up for sale, but you might have to wait a while
    -you can purchase a new model 7 with a synthetic stock and the then fit a wood stock at a later date (if you can find one, or get a custom wood stock). The romance of a wooden stock goes out the window pretty quickly when you’ve spent a few days hunting in pissing rain, and the stock has swelled a bit and your point of impact has changed. Synthetic or carbon fibre is more practical for real world hunting
