Advice wanted on Carbon Fibre stocks

    Hi Guys,
I am looking into Carbon fibre stocking a rifle of mine but there are so many options and manufacturers. Just wanting peoples opinions or experience with value for money etc on some stocks. Have looked in SS Guns, Senator, Southfort Labs, Hardy, Hi Tec. All have great looking stocks but just wanting opinions on experiences of good or bad with these. Cheers guy

    I take it your'e either running a T3 or Remmy ?

So out of those listed, Hi Tec is by far the best option.

Sothfort, Hi Tec are good but the upper end of the price range.

Take a look at SG Gunstocks. Value for money they cant be beat.

If you want a tool not a safe queen they go with stug (sg stocks) much nicer on the wallet then other options and i would bet they are lighter then the others too.

Ive got 2 Stug stocks and both rifles have shot beautifully in them straight off. And they can take a knock too. Tremendously good value.

I've had 3 different ones from Senator,High Tech and Southfort.
Senator are now made in Aussie now and High Tech made by Ken Henderson Which I feel are the best. The Southfort have that ugly pistol grip hook going on which I don't like.

Another vote for Hi-tec. Have had a few southfort sticks and got rid of them the fact that the barrel channel is all just exposed filler is a major turn off for me, nice finish other than that.

Another +1 for Stug stocks. Have one on my Tikka and love it. As a bonus, the stock get bedded with your own action, so is guaranteed to be a better fit than the drop in stocks.

I have a Southfort on my T3 7mmRM and am very happy with the fit and finish. Great feel and very nice to shoot. Only carbon stock I have owned.
