Anyone using the "YoDave" Tikka trigger springs?

I've recently purchased two Tikka T3X rifles and have adjusted both triggers as light as they will go. One of them is very light to the point I wouldn't want it any lighter. The other one I could not get as light as I want it. Very strange that there would be that much variance in the springs.

I did some research and there is a guy in Canada who sells trigger springs for different rifles and apparently his Tikka T3X one can get the pull down as low as 12 ounces while still being safe. Company is YoDave Products. Anyone tried them? Springs are only $10 each. Think i'm going to order a few. Pretty ridiculous but i'll probably still have to fill out an import permit just for a few tiny springs.

Have them in my Tikka's after being put onto them by @Happy great product. The biggest problem is getting bloody NZ post to deliver them. I ordered a set of two complete with import permit that were sent day before lock down - these have dissapeared and never resurfaced. I've gone back to Dave and he's sent a second set (he's a blimmin good dude to deal with) but I'm not sure if things firearm related are getting put into backlog or they are struggling again with this process or whatever but I'll report back once i get clarity on this.

minus our logistics stuff at our end I have nothing but great things to say about the product.

    cheers Paul.

Have them in both my Tikkas - good product and no drama getting them shipped for me.

Have a friend who works at customs. She says they hate packages with springs or small parts as they need to count every single part individually. It’s beyond stupid.

Yeah same for a CZ springs. It was really easy but whole process of getting gun bits has changed a lot. Shipping/postage within NZ seems to be the most difficult thing.

Yup - lack of passengers means massively less air freight got told today expect your parcel from Canada to take months - especially as Customs will grab it and you will need to work with them...

Are you on-selling them? If so how much for 2 of them shipped to Christchurch?

Put me down for a pair too if you are selling some please.

Anyone know what these are like compared to the gunworks trigger job?

    Yeap thats the idea.
send an email to section22@hotmail.com and will add you to the list to contact you when they arrive.
None of my tikkas have had any work done other than the spring. Plenty good enough to shoot any match.
