    you could build a cmmg for around $1500 I would imagine? Maybe even throw in a few aero pieces. Without optics of course

    I was looking after a part of our local range one day, watching a chinese guy repeatedly loading one in the mag, putting the mag in, chambering the round, pulling the trigger, *click*, eject, drop mag, load, repeat. Wandered over and had a look thinking it was boogie ammo, but it wasn't the ammo - although this piece of shit was brand new, the finish was so bad it wouldn't even fire! Pulled the bolt apart, cleaned some of the rougher bits up with 600 paper, oiled it (bone dry too of course), and it went after that. He'd paid over $2k for this thing, including some nasty optic. Yuk.

    AR's are like lego for big boys!

    Ken at NZAR15 is a good dude and helped me out with my first AR.
