    This is a manufacturing flaw, usually associated with the tenifer process.

    It is considered a cosmetic flaw and should have no affect on accuracy or the life of the barrel.

    If it bothers you, it will be covered under your warranty. Might be a lengthy process dealing with the representative and legal paperwork. I have not dealt with Glocks NZ rep so I can't really comment on that.
