    barrett bors

    anyone had anything to do with these ? do they work ? or just a heavy gimik saw them on the barrett site couple years bac hav nt seen any since till couple of comments on here

    Have you two ever tried one ?.
    I've been using one for about three years, I find it a great unit shot plenty goats out 600yd to 850yd, longest 1186yds.

    they must work then , ive just neva seen any around or heard anything about them since they came out , they seemd like a good idea when i saw them

    What on earth does a bors do that a strip of tape or card with drops on it dosent do? (apart from cost a shedload of $$$ and look like a carbunkle on top or your scope)

    Cost $1500US, weigh half a kilo, be bad for ranging things

    Gun City have them reduced from $3499 to $2999 , How many trips into the bush is that ? Get some Geovids

    Stay away. If you intend to spend money on that gadget, get one that works properly: IEA BC01.

    Just look at the BORS sensor specs and you'll get the drift...

    Why do you want one?
    Are you incapable of ranging and dialing your scope?
    You still have to adjust for windage so whats the point?
    Spend that extra money on a better scope and rangefinder

    not going to buy one just interested in the technology and wonderd if it works, agree with the better scope /rangefinder those geovids look pretty good .
