    My 26" .280AI has a fluted No.3 but I consider it more of a truck gun, well SxS more precisely. I don't mind carrying it a couple of kms but that's about it. The weight certainly makes for a steadier shot off a bipod.

    If it's sub-300yds and a bigger walk, the 7-08 Bushpig is the go.
