Thread: Benelli Lupo

Today was the day I took the Lupo to the range to see what it could. I used 3 rounds to get the scope roughly sighted in, then ran a couple of wet patches through the bore, wiped it out and fired a 3 shot group. The initial load was 45gns of Superformance behind a 140gn ELDM. Here is the group.



Not really sure if its possible to do much better than that. However I had some rounds loaded with another grain of powder, so 46gns of superformance behind the ELDM. Here is the 3 shot group at 200m, ignore the high right shot, it is not part of this group.



The 46gn load gave a muzzle velocity of 2794fps with no pressure signs. To say I'm pleased with the rifle is an understatement. This thing bloody shoots.
